You would like to save or print webpages or even read its content offline when needed. However, typical functions in a browser let you read websites only in HTML format. As an alternative, you can create PDF file of the page with the web service pdfcrowd.com. For this open PDFcrowd.com and enter the desired URL in the 'Address' field of the 'Convert web page' tab. The 'Options' are available only to registered users subject to a charge. However, you can forego the settings for page formatting and securing the created PDF file. By clicking 'Convert to PDF', you can convert the webpage and can download the result subsequently. However, as the service only has the URL of the desired website, there are few restrictions and sensitive information such as personal data will be left out. Modifications made in the browser through style-sheets or add-ins will not be visible in the PDF. The conversion does not function in case the required webpage requires you to register. It only delivers the login page and flash-based frames are not converted.
